Google hits for Hekate triformis are more often for modern “witchcraft” than for historical references making it sometimes difficult to find references to the latter.
I've begun to return to work this week, which'll be strenous, but a needed thing.

At the moment, I don't see this blog going forward: how can I resume buying coins on a daily or weekly basis? Doesn't that money need to be kept available for future medical needs or living expensives? It's all very distressing, I'm not committing to anything, I still can post coins that I've owned for some time, there's nothing but stubborness preventing me newly posting coins I previously alreay posted. Perhaps after I settle in after my return to work it'll all become more clear.

Leo VI, emperor 886 to 912, is the latest emperor I own. He was breifly successful by his brother Alexander who reigned 912-913.
I return to work today, with a PET scan that found nothing and desired improvements in my stroke proceeding.

The Asian goddess Kybele was an important figure at this city, frequently featured on their coins. This coin shows clear evidence of cleaning via electrolysis.

Different from this 2005 post primarily in the placement of the mark of officina. I didn't post it when I bought it, so soon after the coib with a Q in the right field since it's so similar but of lesser appearance, with a rougher surface and the Q mintmark filled.
